Remove Content

In some cases, it might be necessary to unpublish a page to remove it from the live site, while still keeping it in the CMS for future use. This section will walk through the process of unpublishing a page on the Content Management page.

After logging into the CMS, select the content icon in the first column to the left. In the picture above, this icon is highlighted in a green color. Selecting this icon opens the Content Management page.

Unpublish or Delete a Page

Once you are on the Content Management page, you can unpublish a page directly from here by searching for it using the search functionality.

Search for the URL or the name of the content you are looking for. Once your search is entered, the results will appear below the search bar in a list.

This portion of the page is divided into four columns, Content Name, Status, Navigation and Copy/Unpublish.

Unpublish or Delete

In the last column, selecting the ‘Unpublish’ button will allow you to unpublish or delete the page. Unpublishing a page will remove it from the live site while still keeping it in the CMS. Deleting a page will remove it completely from the CMS. Warning: Once a page is deleted, it can’t be recovered.
