How to Make Gingerbread Cookies

INGREDIENTS

• 1/2 Cup of Butter, Softened
• 1/2 Cup of Granulated Sugar
• 1 Egg
• 1 Cup Molasses
• 1 Tsp. of Baking Soda Dissolved in Water
• 2 Cups of All-Purpose Flour
• 1.5 Tsp. of Ginger
• 1.5 Tsp. of Cinnamon
• 1/4 Tsp. of Salt
• 1.5 Cups of Flour

DIRECTIONS 

1. In a large bowl, combine the butter, granulated sugar, egg and molasses. Stir mixture.
2. Add the baking soda dissolved in water. Stir mixture.
3. Add the all-purpose flour, ginger, cinnamon and salt. Stir mixture.
4. Add the flour. Stir until well blended.
5. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
6. After 24 hours, pre-heat oven to 350°.
7. Using flour to prevent stickiness, roll out dough until 1/4 inch thick.
8. Cut out the cookies.
9. Place on greased cookie sheet.
10. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
