Ramesh Singh has been working as a freelance consultant, advisor and volunteer. Ramesh has worked and delivered in diverse range of global civil society organizations, with diverse identity-culture-geopolitical teams, from local to national to regional and global levels of management and governance.
Ramesh has served in Greenpeace International, Greenpeace Africa (concurrently), Greenpeace India, Open Society Foundations and ActionAid in various technical, leadership/management and senior roles ranging from program manager; country director, regional director, operations director, LM&E Director, chief operating officer/international organization director; the global CEO.
Currently, Ramesh also serves as a Member of Women for Women international and teaches in Thammasat University and Kathmandu University, on a part-time basis.
He has lived and worked in/from Nepal, India, Vietnam, Thailand, The Gambia, Ethiopia, Johannesburg, United Kingdom, USA, The Netherlands. Currently, Ramesh lives in and works from Bangkok and Kathmandu.
Ramesh received higher education in Agricultural Education in Tribhuvan University, Nepal – and in Seed Technology in University of Edinburgh UK and has been through Executive Courses and Fellowships at INSEAD Business School, France; Harvard Kennedy School, USA; Maxwell School of Public Affairs, USA; Harvard Business School, USA and Institute of Development Studies, UK.
